We’re excited to share the second official devlog for Deadly Chance, our latest project, inspired by classic survival horror games like Resident Evil and its unsettling atmospheres that create tension at every turn. Today, we’ll give you an update on the development progress and what you can expect from the final version.

Recent Progress

Over the past few weeks, we’ve focused on refining the core gameplay and horror elements, ensuring that every moment in Deadly Chance captures the tension we want players to feel. Here are the highlights:

Enemy AI – We’ve tweaked enemy behavior to make them even more unpredictable. Not only do they chase the player, but they also react to sounds and lights, creating high-tension situations in narrow hallways and areas with few escape routes.

Bug Fixes – During the testing phase, we identified and fixed a number of bugs that impacted the player experience, such as collision issues, animation glitches, and crashes in specific areas. The game is now more stable and fluid, providing an immersive experience without interruptions.

Challenges Faced

As with any development, we encountered some challenges. The biggest one was balancing the horror with the gameplay. We wanted to ensure that the player was constantly under pressure, but not frustrated by the difficulty. To do this, we adjusted the learning curves and optimized the progression of the challenges.

Player Feedback

We received a lot of incredible feedback from players who posted videos on YouTube about Deadly Chance. The reception was extremely positive, with each player highlighting areas for improvement and offering valuable suggestions. These insights will certainly help us make the experience even more immersive.
